Future Energy Pty Ltd is a Victorian company established in 2004 to develop, construct, own and operate renewable energy projects throughout Australia. Since its inception, Future Energy has secured Development Approval for over 40 megawatts of wind generation. Two of these projects, at Hepburn and Chepstowe in Victoria, have been constructed and are operational.
The Company’s projects under active development include several wind farms and solar projects with capacities ranging from 6 to 50 megawatts.
Future Energy’s first completed project, the Hepburn Community Wind Park, received Development Approval in 2007 and commenced generation in June 2011. It is Australia’s first community owned wind farm and has received international recognition for its achievement. See www.hepburnwind.com.au.
Future Energy’s most recent project, the Maroona Wind Farm, south of Ararat in Victoria, received Development Approval from the Minister for Planning in May 2016. Construction is planned to commence in 2016 with first generation occurring mid 2017.
With the lodgement of applications for Development Approval in July 2016 for the Ferguson Wind Farm and Timboon West Wind Farm, Future Energy continues to build on its successful track record of delivering high quality small scale, grid connected renewable energy projects.
Pro Ventum International GmbH is part of the German based Pro Ventum Group which has been developing and investing in wind energy project developments since 1991. Pro Ventum's first wind power plant – using Vestas V39 500kW turbines – was erected in the highlands of Saxony in September 1994. In the years since, the Pro Ventum Group has developed and invested in a number of projects in Germany, Ireland, Australia and Thailand.
The group can offer a complete management solution for the planning, development, construction and operation of wind farm projects.
